You're not alone. MBTI tier lists, "most attractive type" polls and "which type would you date?" videos are everywhere on TikTok, Reddit and Instagram. We don't only want to know who we are. We want to know whether other people like who we are.
So here is my personal list of the most liked MBTI types, from S tier (the ones I can't help but love) to D tier (the ones who tested my patience). It comes from years of friendships, group projects, awkward first dates and 2 a.m. conversations, not from lab science.
A quick note: MBTI is a fun framework, not a diagnosis. Nobody in D tier is a bad person, and nobody in S tier is perfect. This is only my view.

S Tier: The Types I Can't Help But Love
ENFP, the Human Sunshine. You know the friend who turns a boring Tuesday into an adventure? That's an ENFP. They ask real questions, remember your dreams, and make your weird ideas feel brilliant. Yes, they might forget to reply for three days. But when they show up, the whole room lights up. ENFPs make you feel seen and excited about life, which is why they top so many "most liked MBTI type" lists. INFJ, the Friend Who Just Gets You. INFJs notice what you didn't say. Their advice feels almost too accurate, and being around one feels like finally exhaling. They are deep, loyal and quietly caring, and once you're in their circle, you're in for life.
A Tier: Warm, Reliable, Easy to Adore
INFP, the Gentle Dreamer, is soft-hearted, creative and sincere. Shy at first, but the kindness is real, and they lose points only for how much time they spend inside their own heads. ENFJ, the Natural Encourager, is the one who says "I believe in you" and means it. They sometimes care so much they forget to look after themselves, which I find weirdly lovable. ISFJ, the Quiet Protector, remembers your birthday, your coffee order, and the stressful thing you mentioned once three months ago. That is dependable warmth in its purest form. INTP, the Curious Genius, turns any random question into a 20-minute journey through ideas you never knew existed. They are dry-funny and they never judge a "silly" question.
B Tier: Great People, Not Always My Match
ISFP, the Gentle Artist, is calm, kind and effortlessly cool, but can be hard to read, and sometimes I wish I knew what they were really feeling. ESFP, the Life of the Party, is someone every group needs. I rank them B only because I sometimes crave deeper talk than the party allows. ENTP, the Debater, is witty and never boring, but when everything becomes a debate, even choosing a restaurant, my energy runs out. ISTJ, the Steady Rock, isn't flashy, yet with an ISTJ you always know where you stand, and that is a rare kind of trust.
C Tier: Worth It, But It Takes Effort
INTJ, the Mysterious Strategist, is brilliant and driven but hard to get close to. Their warm side is real, the wait is just long. ESFJ, the Social Organizer, is caring and community-minded, though strong opinions about "how things should be done" can feel like pressure. ISTP, the Silent Fixer, stays calm in a crisis but can vanish emotionally when you want to talk about feelings. ESTP, the Risk-Taker, is a blast for a weekend, and a little less great at slowing down when you need them to.
D Tier: The Ones Who Tested My Patience
ENTJ and ESTJ, the Commanders. Here comes the controversial part. In my experience, ENTJs and ESTJs can feel blunt, controlling or laser-focused on efficiency, and when I'm upset, "just fix it" is not what I want to hear. But please don't take it personally. These types often make the best leaders, founders and problem-solvers, and their directness becomes a gift once you understand it. D tier here means "hardest for me to connect with," not "worst person."
Two Questions Everyone Asks
1. Does a lower tier mean my type is bad? No. This list shows how I feel about types in everyday social life, which is a tiny slice of a person's worth. Lower-tier types often dominate leadership, engineering, emergency response and business, where being warm and fuzzy is not the top skill. A world of only S-tier types would be lovely, but nothing would get built or organized.
2. Why are Feeling (F) types ranked so high? Because this is a most liked list, and being liked in daily life comes largely from feeling understood. Feeling types show empathy out loud, so they are easier to like fast. Thinking types show care through actions, solutions and loyalty, which is quieter. Being liked quickly is not the same as being valuable deeply.
FAQ: Most Liked MBTI Types
What is the most liked MBTI type? There is no official answer, but in online polls and community threads ENFP and INFJ are often named among the most loved, thanks to their warmth and depth.
What is the rarest MBTI type? INFJ is commonly cited as the rarest type, at roughly 1 to 2 percent of the population in popular estimates.
Is MBTI scientifically accurate? It is useful for self-reflection, but many psychologists question its reliability because people can get different results when they retake the test. Treat it as a conversation starter, not a verdict.
Can my MBTI type change? Your core preferences tend to stay fairly stable, but results can shift with your mood, life stage and how you answer. Personal growth can also make you more balanced across all four letters.
Which MBTI types make the best friends? ENFP, ENFJ, ISFJ and INFJ are often described as the most supportive friends. Still, good friendships depend on respect, not letters.
Which MBTI type is the most attractive? It depends on who you ask. ENFPs and INFJs often win for emotional depth, while ENTJs and ESTPs are often called attractive for confidence. Chemistry beats a four-letter code.
Final Thoughts
MBTI can't tell you who will love you. But it can help you see why some people feel like home and others feel like a challenge. Use this tier list for fun, not as a rulebook.
Your turn: what's your type, and which tier would you put yourself in? Tell me in the comments. Do you agree with my list, or did I treat your type unfairly?
