  2. Obsession

    Curry Barker wrote, directed, and edited this 2025 American supernatural horror about Bear (Michael Johnston), who breaks the forbidden 'One Wish Willow' to win Nikki (Inde Navarrette), only to find his wish exacts a sinister price.   3. Evil Dead Burn

  4. I Am Frankelda

    Arturo and Roy Ambriz direct this 2026 Mexican stop-motion dark fantasy horror musical, billed as Mexico's first stop-motion feature. Voiced by Mireya Mendoza, Arturo Mercado Jr., and Luis Leonardo Suarez, it follows 19th-century writer Frankelda into her subconscious to face her own spooky creations, guided by the tormented prince Herneval.   5. Incantation

    Directed by Kevin Ko, Incantation is a 2022 Taiwanese found-footage supernatural folk horror. It stars Tsai Hsuan-yen as Li Ronan, Huang Sin-ting as daughter Dodo, Kao Ying-hsuan, Sean Lin, and RQ. Six years after breaking a religious taboo, a mother must protect her child from a deadly curse, told through pseudo-documentary recovered footage. Released theatrically in Taiwan on March 18, 2022, then on Netflix July 8, it became Taiwan's highest-grossing horror film of 2022, praised for its oppressive dread.

  6. Insidious: Out of the Further

    Directed by Jacob Chase, Insidious: Out of the Further is a 2026 American supernatural horror and the sixth Insidious installment.     Adrian Chiarella's feature debut Leviticus is a 2026 Australian queer supernatural horror.     Directed by Rob Savage and produced by James Wan, Other Mommy is a 2026 US-Irish supernatural horror adapted from Josh Malerman's novel Incidents Around the House. Jessica Chastain plays a mother whose eight-year-old daughter Bela (Arabella Olivia Clark) is menaced by a closet entity that looks exactly like her; Jay Duplass, Dichen Lachman and Karen Allen co-star. Universal releases it October 9, 2026, with the doppelgänger premise fueling strong anticipation after Savage's Host and The Boogeyman.

    Written and directed by Zach Cregger with Shay Hatten, Resident Evil is a 2026 American survival-horror reboot of Capcom's games. Austin Abrams stars as Bryan, a medical courier whose late-night delivery strands him in Raccoon City amid Umbrella's zombie outbreak; Zach Cherry, Paul Walter Hauser, Johnno Wilson and Kali Reis co-star.
